Phil Mickelson is a self proclaimed Christian and a well known golfer. He speaks openly in public about his Christian faith and how it has changed over his lifetime.

He wrote a popular blog post in 2012 that was published on The Gospel Project website. In this article, he touches on the subject of feeling the emotional burden of living up to the Christian standards. He attributes his attitude to golf on his belief structure.
