Is there a photo limit for your photo album on Facebook?

Facebook allows a maximum of 1000 photos per photo album. This limit includes both regular photos and videos, regardless of size or quality. Photos can only be uploaded to Facebook albums that have been manually created.

Uploading photos to a Facebook album involves navigating to the pictures section of a profile and click on the appropriate album or clicking on the Create Album link to create a new album. The next step is clicking Add Photos and selecting the desired photos from the computer hard drive. When the blue progress bar is complete, clicking Post Photos finishes the uploading process.
