How do you upload photos to your "My Photos" album?

On an iOS device, once a My Photos album has been set up, the photos a user takes will automatically be uploaded to his My Photos album if connected to a Wi-Fi source, where they will remain for 30 days. At the end of the 30 days, a user will need to save them to the iOS device of his choice.
Using My Photos does not count against the amount of space a person has available in iCloud. My Photo Stream accepts .jpeg, .tiff and .png photo formats, but will not work with videos.
Windows users running iCloud can add photos to My Photo Stream quickly and easily.
- Open a Windows Explorer window
- Open My Photo Stream
Once open, find "Favorites" and select "iCloud Photos."
Once My Photo Stream is open, select the photos to upload and click "Open."
Turning on My Photo Stream on a Mac is also simple.
- Go to Apple
- Select Photos and Options
- Select the appropriate app
Click on the Apple then "System Preferences" and "iCloud."
Click the checkbox for Photos and then click the "Options" button to be sure My Photo Stream is selected.
Choose the app to use with Photo Stream. This app is usually Aperture or iPhoto. Upon clicking it, be sure My Photo Stream is selected in the app.
