Henri Richard, who played for the Montreal Canadiens, holds the record for winning the most Stanley Cups in NHL history, as of 2014. Richard won 11 total Stanley Cups in his 20-year career.
In Henri Richard's 20-year career, he played 1,256 games, scored 358 goals and accumulated 688 assists. Richard was only awarded an individual award one time in his career, which was the Bill Masterton trophy in the 1973 to 1974 season. This trophy was awarded to the player that best showed the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and overall dedication to the sport of hockey. Richard's jersey number, 16, was retired in 1975.
