What does a Pomeranian dog look like?

Pomeranians are easily identifiable by their long, fluffy coats and fox-like faces. Poms, as they are affectionately known, is a small companion breed with a big personality and distinctive appearance.

The Pomeranian is a small breed that weighs 3 to 7 pounds and stands 7 to 12 inches at the shoulder. They come in numerous colors, but orange, red, white, black, cream, white and blue are the most common. The Pom has a long double coat that stands away from the body. Although its coat looks like it would be difficult to maintain, a Pomeranian typically only needs regular brushing.
