What are some popular currencies in Europe?

The Euro, British pound sterling and Swiss franc are popular currencies in Europe. The European Union has eleven currencies, with Euro being the principal currency. Bulgarian lev, Croatian kuna, Danish krone, Hungarian forint and Romanian leu are some other currencies of Europe.

Out of 28 European Union members, 19 countries have adopted Euro as their official currency. Collectively, these 19 countries constitute the Eurozone. Czech koruna, Polish z?oty and Swedish krona are other currencies of Europe. The Euro is only behind the U.S. dollar with respect to the most traded currencies in the world. British pound sterling and Swiss franc also feature among the top 10 most traded currencies in the world.
