Popular flavors of Haagen-Dazs ice cream include Dulce de Leche, Vanilla, Caramel Cone and Coffee, reports Ranker. Other popular flavors include Vanilla bean, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry and Butter Pecan, as of 2015.

Haagen-Dazs was created by Reuben Mattus in the 1920s. Mattus started out working for his mother's ice cream business and eventually started his own company with his wife, Rose. The first three flavors made by Haagen-Dazs were vanilla, chocolate and coffee. In the beginning, Haagen-Dazs ice cream was only available in gourmet shops of New York City, New York. Haagen-Dazs grew into a successful company nationwide; and, it was purchased by The Pillsbury Company in 1983.
