Although as of 2014, Tokyo should keep its title as the world's most populous city for the foreseeable future, the Indian capital of New Delhi is predicted to rise from its current total of 25 million to 37 million in 2030. A United Nations report shows that the urban population of the world should grow significantly over the next few decades.
