Is it possible to view live satellite street view maps online?

It is not possible to view live satellite images when using Google Street View. Google Street View works by displaying panoramas of stitched together photographs.

The primary means of obtaining images for Google Street View is the use of a special car called the Google Maps Camera Car. The car is mounted with a special non-mechanical camera developed by Google. The car needs to drive down a particular street in order to record the photographs. Thus, Google Street View images are only as recent as the last time that a Google Maps Camera Car visited the area. The Street View feature is incorporated into the Google Maps web and mobile applications.
