What prison is Ronald DeFeo in?

As of 2014, Ronald DeFeo is being held at the Green Haven Correctional Facility in Beekman, N.Y. DeFeo has been incarcerated at Green Haven since his conviction on Nov. 21, 1975.

Ronald DeFeo was found guilty on six counts of second-degree murder for killing his entire family in their Amityville, N.Y., home. He was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences, and all of his appeals to the parole board have been denied.

During the trail, DeFeo's defense attorney, William Weber, attempted an insanity plea for him. Weber claimed that Robald DeFeo heard voices in his head that told him to commit the murders.
