Some common problems consumers experience with LG stoves are the temperature controls not working properly and the burners failing to turn off. Also, the burners can increase in heat automatically, causing burns and injuries.

LG recalled several of these ranges in the United States and Canada that were produced from January 2006 through June 2012. In the United States, these models include LRE30451, LRE30453, LRE30755, LRE30757 and LRE30955ST. At the time, the price range of these models was between $800 and $1,999. Customers who have these models must discontinue use of their stoves immediately. Once contacted, LG can schedule a free in-home repair to fix the problem.
