What are the Purple Cobras?

The name Purple Cobras refers to a fictional dodgeball team from the comedy movie "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story." The Purple Cobras act as the movie's main antagonists against the protagonists, members of Average Joe's gym.

Ben Stiller plays the Purple Cobras' leader and the movie's main antagonist, White Goodman. White Goodman owns and operates the successful Globo Gym business. He buys Average Joe's gym when Vince Vaughn's character, Peter Le Fleur, fails to pay the mortgage. To earn the money to get Average Joe's back, Le Fleur and members of Average Joe's enter a dodgeball tournament. The climax of the movie centers around a dodgeball match between the Purple Cobras and Le Fleur's team.
