What is the purpose of the Academy of Reading?

The purpose of Academy of Reading is assisting struggling readers with an interactive, intensive online program. Academy of Reading assists students in five vital literacy areas: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.

Academy of Reading uses real-time data to create a program track for each student. Tutorials, practice exercises, training and motivational tools are all used to keep the student engaged and enhance the learning experience.

Academy of Reading is designed to offer individualized instruction for students in grades 2 through 12 in a school setting. As of 2015, a 12-month subscription costs $60 per student with a minimum charge of $3000 per school.
