What is the purpose of Mommy and Me classes?

Mommy and Me classes provide parents and their child opportunities to bond with each other through structured activities such as dancing, yoga, exercise and music. Additionally, these classes also increase confidence between the child and parent and to provide socialization experiences.

Mommy and Me classes can be started when a child is still an infant. Many new parents find that these classes give them the chance to meet other new parents and to expand their social network. Some parents also find these classes beneficial in their child's toddler years because it allows their children the opportunity to practice the social skills that they need for preschool and beyond.
