What is quality of conformance?

The quality of conformance of a product or service is the ability of that product to meet given design specifications. High quality conformance means the product meets design specifications very well, and low quality of conformance means the product does not adhere well to the design specifications.

When the creator of a product or service interprets the needs of his or her customers, he or she sets design specifications that each of the products must adhere to in order to be acceptable to the customer. Quality of conformance is the ability of the product to adhere to those design specifications and subsequently be an acceptable product.
