The Rainbow is a Christian-based home school science curriculum for students aged 12 through 14. The curriculum covers a period of two years and includes lessons on physics, chemistry, biology and earth science.
The Rainbow includes teaching materials for the parent of the home-schooled child, as well as laboratory activities that the student can complete at home. Topics covered in the physics curriculum include the laws of motion, gravity and energy. The biology curriculum covers creationist perspectives on evolution, as well as topics such as botany, cells and phyla. In chemistry, students learn about the periodic table of the elements and various chemical reactions.
