What are the ramifications of cell phone addiction?
By Forinfos - 28/03/2026 - 0 comments
One ramification of cell phone addiction, also known as nomophobia, is stress. Continuous cell phone use causes stress on the fingers, body, neck and mind.
Insomnia is also a potential ramification of cell phone use. Artificial light can trick chemicals that normally help induce sleep into thinking it is still daytime. The social obligation that people sometimes feel with cell phones may cause anxiety.
People may experience withdrawal symptoms, such as depression and anger, if the phone is taken away. Being separated from the phone may also cause phone cravings. A cell phone addict may neglect personal relationships, physical fitness and hobbies as the addiction escalates.
