What is the rarest depression glass pattern?

Collectors Weekly magazine states that the rarest Depression glass pattern is Cameo by Hocking (now Anchor Hocking), and the rarest piece is the sandwich server. Mayfair is another Hocking pattern difficult for today's collectors to locate.

Hocking was a top producer of Depression-era glass; the company produced 90 pieces of glassware per minute in the 1930s. With such high production, the price on a pair of glass tumblers during the Depression was only five cents.

Other manufacturers of Depression glass include Federal Glass and Macbeth-Evans, both of which remain popular among collectors. The most sought-after colors of Depression glass are green, cobalt blue and pink.
