Recalls issued for the Chevy Blazer include faulty stop lamps and rear hazard lamps. Some Chevy Blazers manufactured between 2000 and 2002 have an issue with the multifunction switch that could result in the stop lamps and rear hazard lamps becoming inoperable, increasing the risk of a crash.
Another recall issued for the Chevy Blazer was because of inaccurate labeling on the air bag of the 2004 model. A recall was issued for the 2000-01 model due to improperly assembled buckle bases on seat belts. As a result of the improper seat belt assembly, passengers may not be restrained in the event of a crash.
