When do you receive notice of registration renewal for a vehicle in Nevada?

As of 2015, the state of Nevada mails notice of vehicle registration renewal approximately 30 days before the expiration date, according to the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. Registrations expire on the exact date stated, not at the end of the month.

Vehicle owners are responsible for renewing their registrations on time, even if they do not receive a renewal notice. Vehicle registration status can be checked online using the last four digits of the VIN and the vehicle license plate number. Late fees are charged on late renewals based on the expiration date.
