Is red light therapy good for your skin?
By Forinfos - 12/05/2025 - 0 comments
Findings about the benefits of red light therapy are not yet conclusive, but research suggests that it may be beneficial for certain skin-related issues, according to The Dermatology Review. Red light therapy is an alternative option to physician-administered laser therapy.
Red light therapy treats skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and wrinkles. Medical personnel can administer red light therapy at a doctors office, or patients can use it as an at-home treatment option. Red light treatment does not carry many physical risks; however, patients who are photosensitive must proceed with caution when undergoing the therapy, as noted by The Dermatology Review.
