Psychologist Simon Baren Cohen created and tested the Autism Quiz on which 80 percent of the autistic participants scored above a 32, which adds credibility and reliability to this screening tool according to Wired. However, online autism quizzes are screening tools and not diagnostic, notes PsychCentral.

Autism quizzes ask 50 questions in which the quiz taker answers by selecting definitely agree, slightly agree, slightly disagree, or definitely disagree. The participant's answers are generated into a score. A score less than 29 indicates no autism while a score between 30 and 33 suggests possible autism; however, a score greater than 34 suggests autism may be present, according to PsychCentral.
