How reliable is the Samsung Galaxy S3?

The Samsung Galaxy S3 was the least reliable smartphone as of April 2013, according to insurance information from TechAdvisor. The Galaxy S3 has been discontinued. As of March 2015, Samsung has released two more generations of Galaxy handsets.

Using claim information from the British insurer MobileInsurance.co.uk, TechAdvisor found that Samsung users reported that the Galaxy S3 handsets had the most faults. Based on fault reports, the white model Galaxy S3 was less reliable than the black or silver models. TechAdvisor collected the data from consumer insurance claims and did not include reports of accidental damage. Owners of the iPhone 3GS made the fewest insurance claims.
