Some remedies for removing scratches on glass include using nail polish and metal polish. A homemade cleaner made of white toothpaste, baking soda and water can also be used to make a paste that erases scratches.

Before using nail polish or metal polish on the glass, clean and dry the area thoroughly. If you're using metal polish, put a small amount on a soft cloth, then rub the scratched area. This helps the scratch become less visible. Only a small amount of polish is needed. To use clear nail polish, apply the polish directly to the scratch with the nail polish brush. Wipe away the excess with a soft cloth.
