How do you remove beet stains from clothes?

Remove beet stains from clothes by soaking them in a combination of cold water, laundry detergent or stain remover, and either chlorine bleach or oxygen bleach. Follow up with a cold-water rinse.

1. Apply stain remover to the beet stain

   Apply a small amount of pre-wash stain remover or liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain. After application of the stain remover, rinse the clothing with cold water.

2. Soak stained clothing in cold water and bleach

   If the stain remains visible after the application of the stain remover, proceed to soak the clothing in a solution of cold water and fabric-appropriate bleach for five minutes.

3. Put the clothing in the washing machine

   After soaking the clothing in bleach, add the items to a cold-water load in your washing machine. Add fabric-appropriate bleach, and run the load as usual.
