How do you remove dust from silk plants?

For light dust, clean silk plants with a feather duster, working from top to bottom. To remove heavy dust, brush each individual leaf with a paint brush, again working from top to bottom. For very heavy dust, spray each leaf until saturated with equal parts white vinegar and water.
Dust silk plants regularly, as dust gets harder to remove the longer it sits. To avoid spreading dust to other parts of the house, remove heavy dust outside. Remember to dust the pot and the non-leafy parts of the silk plant regularly. Test the vinegar and water solution on an inconspicuous area before cleaning the entire plant to make sure it doesn't discolor the leaves. This mixture is not safe for silk flowers.
