How do you remove the FBI Moneypak virus?

There are multiple ways to remove the FBI Moneypak virus, although the easiest one entails the use of malware-removal software, such as Emsisoft Emergency Kit. The removal process involves booting up Windows in Safe Mode, downloading Emsisoft Emergency Kit, running a scan and quarantining the virus.

1. Reboot Windows into Safe Mode with Networking

   Left-click on the Start button, and select the Restart options in the Shut Down menu. As Windows is booting up, keep pressing F8 until you enter a menu where you can select the Safe Mode with Networking option via arrow keys.

2. Download and install Emsisoft Emergency Kit

   Once you have logged in, open a web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, and download Emsisoft Emergency Kit from the Emsisoft official website. After the download is completed, double-click on EmsisoftEmergencyKit.exe, and then select the Accept & Extract option.

3. Update the software

   Left-click on the Emergency Kit Scanner option, and then left-click on Yes once the update prompt pops up.

4. Scan the computer
