How do you remove grease from clothes?

To remove grease stains from clothing, clean off as much of the grease as possible before washing the item. Then, use the hottest water possible that is safe for the fabric.

1. Blot the grease

   Using a paper towel, blot up as much grease as possible. Keep blotting until the paper towel is clean.

2. Rinse the item of clothing

   Rinse the clothing under hot running water. Allow the water to run through the grease stain to help loosen it up.

3. Wash the clothing

   Wash the item of clothing as normal. Use the hottest water setting that is still safe to use on the fabric.
