To remove starter earrings, wash your hands, disinfect the ears, gently loosen the earring and slowly remove the backing. The process takes just a few minutes.

1. Disinfect your hands and earlobes

   Wash your hands thoroughly before starting. Wet a cotton ball or pad with rubbing alcohol, and gently wipe around the front and back of the earrings.

2. Twist the earring

   Slowly twist the earring a few times while it's still in your ear. This helps loosen any skin that may have begun to attach to the stem.

3. Remove the backing

   Pull the backing straight back to remove it. If it doesn't come off right away, rotate the backing a few times, and then try again.
