How do you renew your Ohio driver's licence?

In order to renew a driver's license in the state of Ohio, bring in the older license and pay the renewal fee. If the license is brought in prior to its expiration date, no other proof the identity will be required.

Use the following instructions in order to renew a driver's license in the state of Ohio.

1. Go to the DMV

Go to the department of motor vehicles and put in a request for a license renewal.

2. Pay the renewal fee

Show the license to the clerk and pay the renewal fee.

If the license in question is expired, the person will be required to present an additional means of identification, such as a Social Security card.
