What are renewable fuels?
By Forinfos - 10/11/2025 - 0 comments
Renewable fuels are fuels made from renewable resources. Where fossil fuels are finite, renewable fuels are infinite and examples of renewable fuels include vegetable oil as fuel and methanol made from carbon dioxide.
Renewable fuels are becoming more popular because they can be manufactured and used with little or no harm to the environment. They produce fewer greenhouse gases because they can be made using technologies like solar and wind power. Besides helping to save the environment, renewable fuels reduce the world's dependence on oil.
Other examples of renewable resources include, barley which can be used for ethanol; algae, which makes jet fuel and sunflower oil, which can be made into biodiesel.
