How do you resize a GIF image?

To resize a GIF image, open the image in an image editing software, and use the software's resize tool to change the size of the image. You need image editing software, such as GIMP or Photoshop.

1. Open the image in the software

   Launch your preferred image editing software. Go to File in the main menu, and select Open. Search through your system for the GIF image you want to resize, and select it. Click Open to open the image.

2. Resize the image

   Go to the Image tab in the main menu, and select Resize, Scale Image or Image Size. Enter the size that you would like to change the image to in the Width and Height text fields. Click OK, Resize or Scale to close the resize tool dialog.

3. Save the image

   To save an image in GIF format with GIMP, go to File in the main menu, and select Export As. Select GIF, and select your export preferences. Click Export to save the image. To save an image in GIF format with Photoshop, go to File in the main menu, and select Save for Web. Select GIF, and select your desired quality preferences. Click Save to save the image.
