Are the reviews of the Toyota Venza generally good?

As of July 2015, reviews of Toyota's Venza are fairly good but not strong. The U.S. News and World Report gives the 2015 model an overall rating of 7.6 out of 10. Though Edmunds.com mentions the Venza's roomy cabin, the vehicle lacks certain safety features and has inadequate fuel economy.

U.S. News ranks 2015's Toyota Venza ninth out of 12 affordable mid-size SUVs. However, its safety rating is very high, at 9.3 out of 10 points. Its performance earns a rating of seven because it is underpowered and noisy. Edmunds.com notes that crash test results are excellent. Yet modern safety features, such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and forward collision mitigation, are not included.
