What is "RGB input"?

"RGB input" refers to a set of three video cable receivers found on modern media devices marked with the colors red, green and blue. These receivers allow for the transmission and display of high-definition images.
Broadly speaking, "RGB" also refers to the set of all video input standards in which the red, green and blue color information is transmitted separately from the picture information of an image. This allows for virtually unlimited color saturation and clarity. Digital RGB formats are in widespread use within computer monitor VGA ports. Analog RGB, with its three-colored prongs and receivers, has never been popular in North America.
