Infested linens and clothing should be washed in hot water and dried on the hottest dryer setting. Things that cannot be washed, like stuffed animals and pillows, should be dried at the hottest setting for at least half an hour. The mattress should be scrubbed with a stiff brush and then vacuumed frequently.
