How do you right-click on a Mac?

The proper way to right-click on a Mac is to place two fingers on the trackpad, and press the trackpad with your thumb. The right-click options appear on the screen for you to navigate.

1. Put two fingers on the trackpad

   Place your index and middle fingers on the trackpad. Do not leave any other finger on the pad, as the computer may interpret the hand gesture differently.

2. Put your thumb on the trackpad

   Place your thumb on the trackpad next to your index finger. This works with both left and right hands.

3. Press your thumb down

   Using a quick tapping motion, press your thumb down into the corner of the trackpad. The right-click options, such as Undo, Cut, Copy and Print, appear on the screen.
