Robert Hood was born in 1965. He began releasing music in the early 1990s and is still creating music as of 2012. He produces electronic music and has been associated with Underground Resistance, X-101, X-102 and X-103.
Hood was born in Detroit, Michigan. He is regarded by some as the creator of minimalist techno. Hood started his own record label, called M-Plant, in 1994. Other names he has recorded under include Floorplan, Monobox, and The Vision. Popular songs of Hood include "And Then We Planned Our Escape," "Black Technician," and "Bust the Vibes." His most recent album as of 2012 was called "Motor: Nighttime World, Vol. 3."
