What's an invoice?
By Forinfos - 26/10/2025 - 0 comments
An invoice is a bill a company sends to a customer that states the amount of money due for goods or services purchased. Invoices generally list the company's name, customer's name, the date, items or services purchased, and a payment due date, as of 2015.
Companies often use software programs such as QuickBooks to create, track and customize invoices. The program records all invoices in a database, allowing businesses to keep track of paid and unpaid invoices. The program also tracks how long invoices are open, noting any invoices for which payment is overdue. Custom QuickBooks invoices allow font-changing, adding of business logos, editing of contact information and other features.
