There are safety concerns associated with indoor grills as they do give off small amounts of steam and smoke when in use. Steam is vapor produced from hot water that can cause skin irritation and burns. Smoke is the suspension of particles that can cause coughing, irritation and potentially cancer.
Lidded or covered indoor grills contain produced steam and smoke. To prevent any dangers associated with indoor grills, purchase an indoor grill that comes with a cover or buy a cover separately. Place the lid on the grill when cooking to prevent health dangers from the trapped vapors.
