Is Saudi Arabia in Asia or Africa?

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is located in Asia in the region known as the Middle East. It is the largest country in that region.

Located on the Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia is bordered by the countries of Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq and Kuwait and two bodies of water: the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. The country is 95 percent desert and is home to the largest sand mass on Earth, the Rub' Al Khali Desert. Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Extreme heat and aridity characterize Saudi Arabia's climate. The country receives little rain; sometimes no rain falls in the country during an entire year.
