What is science for kids?

Science for kids, specifically elementary aged kids, is a general introduction to basic scientific concepts. It is the foundation for further scientific development and experimentation.

Elementary science curriculum includes physical science, life science, Earth and space sciences. Children study a variety of concepts, including how the human body works, our solar system, the composition of plant life and the difference between plants and animals. Common lesson themes include the study of habitats, engineering design, processes that shape the Earth, structure and properties of matter and biological evolution. The themes and degrees of difficulty are dependent on grade level and content standards.
