Some of the safest and most well-established international banks include KfW in Germany, Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten in The Netherlands, ZŸrcher Kantonalbank in Switzerland and TD Bank Group in Canada, according to the Global Finance website rankings of 2013. Out of the North American companies, Canada and the United States both have six banks in the top 50 rankings, but Canada's groups rank higher than those from the United States.
