Where is the serial number located on Coach handbags?

On genuine Coach handbags, the serial number is located on the inside of the bag below the interior pocket. It can be found stamped on a piece of leather below the Coach creed and stitched into the lining of the bag.

Coach serial numbers are always preceded by "No" with the lowercase "o" underscored. The serial number can be six, seven or eight digits long, depending on its vintage and place of production. If the handbag is genuine, the serial number is always stamped onto genuine leather, not embossed or printed, and it is neatly stitched onto the handbag's lining.
