How do you set up an account on The Knot wedding registry?

Couples interested in setting up a wedding registry account on The Knot can do so by creating a profile on The Knot, creating a registry with a retail partner of The Knot and adding registries to the account. The Knot's registry profiler allows a couple to store all of their registries in one place to make it easy for friends and family to find them all.

The following steps can be used to create a registry profile with The Knot.

1. Go to the Web page

Go to The Knot's website (TheKnot.com) and click on "Registry."

2. Choose Retailer

Choose one of the participating retailers listed on the site. As of June 2015, examples include Best Buy, Crate & Barrel, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Sur la Table, The Container Store and Target. This will create a registry account on The Knot.

3. Add registries
Search for any registries that have already been created to add them to the new The Knot account. Couples can also add registries manually if the store is not one of the site's retail partners. Couples also have the option to choose a charity that will receive a donation from The Knot whenever a guest makes a purchase from the registry profile.

Once the account is created, guests will be able to search this site for a couple's registries. The registry account can also be linked to a couple's wedding website.
