As of 2015, the Refresh cycle with steam, Wrinkle Control cycle and Wrinkle Prevent option are settings on certain Maytag dryers that help remove wrinkles from fabrics. The Refresh cycle with steam is only available on steam dryers.

The Wrinkle Control cycle on Maytag dryers is a special cycle that relaxes fabrics to keep them from wrinkling. The Wrinkle Prevent option intermittently tumbles clothes after the dry cycle ends. A dryer can be used to remove wrinkles even if it does not have special cycles. Placing a damp, white, woven cotton towel in the dryer with the wrinkled item and tumbling for about five minutes typically reduces wrinkles.
