Who is in the Shelby County jail?

The website for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee provides an inmate look-up tool as well as access to a complete list of inmates that users may download as an Excel document, as of 2015. Searches include original charges and arrest dates for inmates.

On the homepage, users can click Who's in Jail under Popular Links. Several tabs on the search page provide unique search criteria. Active Inmates includes a search tool that asks for first and last names, date of birth, booking number and booking date. Users may also click the Excel icon to download the complete list of active inmates. Other tabs include Recent Bookings, Inmate Age Stats and Inmate Location Stats.
