How do you shine laminate floors?

Shining a laminate floor is a simple process that can be completed within a few minutes. To shine your laminate floors, you need a bucket, a mop, water, vinegar and peppermint oil.

1. Create cleaning mixture

   Fill a bucket halfway with hot water. Pour vinegar in until the bucket is completely full and your mixture is equal parts water and vinegar. If you don't like the smell of this mixture, add a few drops of peppermint oil until the smell is more manageable.

2. Apply mixture to laminate floors

   Using your mop and the bucket, begin to wipe down the laminate floor. For an even shine, you should make sure that the entire floor receives some of the mixture in an even coat. If any parts of your floor are dirty, consider adding a little extra cleaning solvent.

3. Scrub patches of stuck-on dirt

   Examine your floor for areas that have dirt caked on them. In addition to adding a shine to your laminate floors, the cleaning mixture can also help to loosen deposits of built-up dirt. Use the mop and exert some pressure onto these build-ups. They should come off easily after being exposed to the mixture. Once the mixture has dried, your floor will shine evenly.
