What should you do with your antique coffee pot?

Vintage coffee pots can be used as containers for flowers or miniature gardens or repurposed as lamps. Alternatively, with the addition of a few dangling pieces of metal, an antique coffee pot makes a distinctive wind chime.

To make a coffee pot lamp, purchase a prefabricated lamp kit, which is readily available at most hardware stores. After inserting the lamp rod into the base of the coffee pot and securing it in place, thread the lamp's wiring through the former electrical plug of the coffee pot. For a non-electrical coffee pot, drill a hole to accommodate the wiring. Add a cute lampshade for a stylish look that coordinates with country-themed decors.
