How often should a dryer drawer be emptied?

Locate the lint drawer and pull it out. Roll and peel the lint from the filter and discard it. If you use laundry softener sheets, you may need to occasionally clean the mesh filter more thoroughly. To do this, fill a sink with hot soapy water and soak the filter for several minutes. Scrub residue from the screen and allow it to dry before reinserting the filter drawer into the dryer.
