Why should a pitbull be fed raw meat?

Dogs originally lived on raw food before they became domesticated. There are many grains and other by-products in commercial food that some pitbulls cannot handle. If a dog owner wants to serve raw meat to their pet, it should be done gradually. Giving pitbulls a small portion between their meals is one way to get their bodies adjusted to the new food. If the owner suddenly switches to the new diet, the pitbull may get an upset stomach or begin acting ill.
